TODAY IS KYLO’S BIRTHDAY

i can’t even believe it!! he’s officially one year old. of course we haven’t had him for a year – only since september – but how crazy. he’s growing up so fast! it makes me sad. but i also love how he’s still a puppy and since we haven’t had him through a summer yet, he still has a lot of “firsts” that i’m excited for.

in honor of his first birthday, i thought i would go through all of my photos and post a few of my favorites of him. now i literally had to go through HUNDREDS of photos.. like, i didn’t realize how many i took of him. it’s ridiculous. but i am so so so grateful i did. one of the reasons i started this blog was to document and have these moments to look back on. taking a million photos of kylo and writing all about our lives with him and adventures is something i will always be happy i did. i know i literally sound like he’s my human child, but it’s basically the same thing!

this is the very first photo i took of him! like literally two seconds after we got him. he was SO sad when his previous owner left him.. it like broke my heart.

he wouldn’t even eat the treat we gave him because he was so sad ^

but look how cute his little tongue is! he used to sleep with his tongue sticking out every time, it was adorable.

ugh, my heart…

hahaha back when we were crate training him, i came home at lunch to let him out and he had chewed his doggy bed! he felt SO guilty and was so scared he was going to get in trouble. it was sweet

i can’t get over how tiny he was! this was when he was about 5 months, i think?

his first winter was a success! he’s obsessed with the snow. it makes him so hyper and i love it.

up until about two or three months ago, he was TERRIFIED of the car.. look at his face!

one time he chewed up a pillow he sometimes sleeps on.. he was really proud of himself.

 

 

i feel like those are such a tiny portion of all of the photos i have of him. honestly every day is an adventure with him and i love it. i’m so obsessed with him! i mean obviously, i made an instagram for him lol
