diy door mat

this weekend i got a little crafty and decided to make my own door mat. i always see super cute ones on pinterest and etsy, but they all seem to be really expensive. so i decided to make my own for much cheaper!

you will need:

• stencils
• acrylic paint
• plain door mat (target $10)
• sponge brush

it’s super easy to get started! first i taped down the stencils i bought so that they wouldn’t slide around while i painted.

i then painted in the stencil. that’s really all there is to it!

i had to put a couple of coats on the paint because of the type of door mat it was, but i like the way it turned out!

 

 

now i hope you have trap queen stuck in your head all day 😛 hahaha
