my first microdermabrasion treatment hey! this week’s blog post is all about my first microdermabrasion treatment. i asked you all on instagram if you wanted me to do a blog post about my first treatment and not one person said no. haha, so here we are! i’m going to take you through what concerns i had with my skin, the treatment process, and then my results. as always, if you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments! if you don’t know, microdermabrasion is a treatment that removes all of the dead skin cells from your face. it can be used to treat so many skin concerns like wrinkles, age spots, sun damage, clogged pores, skin texture and minor scars. my skin concerns a few of the issues i was having with my skin (and still am) were scaring and oil/clogged pores. it’s normal to suffer from breakouts every now and again, but my scarring was having the hardest time fading. there’s nothing worse than finally getting rid of a bad break out, but then having to deal with scars for the next month. i hate it so much! because of my clogged pores and all of the dead skin that needed to be removed, my skin was also way more oily than it had ever been. my makeup wasn’t staying on my face and my skin care products weren’t sinking in the way they should have been. i will say, i was not exfoliating my skin as much as i should have been, however, at home exfoliation can only do so much. if you have any skin issues like that, you should def go talk to your medspa about microdermabrasion! the treatment honestly, this was the easiest and quickest thing EVER. she told me that some people even go in on their lunch break to have this done because it’s that simple. i’ve never had a facial (or any treatment) done before, so i wasn’t too sure what to expect, but i didn’t expect it to be this easy lol. i basically got in, she cleansed my skin, and then started the treatment! it literally was like a tiny vacuum just sucking up all of my dead skin cells. there is no other way to describe it other than a tiny little vacuum. it didn’t hurt at all either! it felt kind of good. but she went…

hey guys! today’s post is one i’m so so so excited to share with you. since the day i was born, i’ve struggled with yellow teeth. as much as i loved growing up outside of town, that did however, mean well water.. which meant no help with keeping my teeth white. the hunt for a teeth whitening system started way back in high school for me! i remember trying a number of different kits and gels, but they either didn’t work, or hurt my sensitive teeth super bad. so when smile brilliant reached out to me about trying their at home teeth whitening kit, i couldn’t say no! and let me tell you, it’s SO worth it and SO easy. they send you the mold to make your custom whitening trays and all you do is send it back in the prepaid envelope they provide. about five days later, you get your trays and boom – you’re ready to start whitening. as i said before, i have super sensitive teeth. which is why i’ve turned away from a lot of at home gel teeth whitening treatments. i was really happy to see that they have a gel you put on your teeth for about 15 mins prior to starting the whitening gel. this was a life savor! so i place the sensitivity gel in the trays, wear that for about 15 minutes while i watch some netflix or work on a blog post, then i swap it for the whitening gel. that’s really all there is too it! you can literally whiten your teeth while you do anything around the house. clean, read a book, watch a movie, work on a blog post. whether you want whiter teeth just to have whiter teeth or you have an event coming up (you’re getting married, like me), you need this kit in your life. one of the great things about this kit (as if i haven’t already been raving about it) is that the trays are CUSTOM. my teeth aren’t the straightest, but that’s totally fine because the custom trays hit every nook and cranny on your teeth just right. want your own kit for free? like everything you hear? want to try it out yourself? >>> click here <<< to enter to win your own kit! what do you have to lose, honestly? want 15% off the entire site – use the coupon code >>> wordsareforwriters15 <<< at checkout. it’s…
