cheryl blossom riverdale halloween costume happy (almost) halloween! this weekend was halloweekend, which means time to wear costumes! there were a ton of parties and events for halloween and it’s probably one of my favorite weekends of the year. i absolutely love getting creative and making costumes! i always want to be so many different things. this year, i decided to do a group costume with some friends (and dominic)! if you’ve seen the show riverdale and are a fan, you’ll know exactly who everyone is! i’m seriously obsessed with riverdale. it’s so so so good! highly recommend. cheryl blossom (aka @cheryl bombshell) has been my favorite character from the start! i knew right away i wanted to be her. especially since she became a serpent which just made her 100x cooler. my friend kirsi was toni topaz, ryan was jughead, and dominic was FP jones (jughead’s dad). i honestly think we nailed these costumes! i was super happy with how they turned out. my wig had SO MUCH HAIR, and since my head is literally the size of like a 10 year olds, it felt very overwhelming. if i was to do this costume again, i’d prob just get some temporary spray hair dye. other than that though, i loved my cheryl blossom costume! cheryl blossom costume details links to each part of my outfit are below! jacket boots (similar) shorts top wig serpent patch below are a few photos of our costumes! unfortunately, we didn’t end up getting a group shot (one of us was always behind the camera) but i still love how they turned out!

formulate custom shampoo review hello everyone. this post is kind of a long one, but worth it, so bear with me. remember a few months ago when i was super excited to announce the launch of formulate – a custom shampoo and conditioner company? if you missed that post, you can check it out here. so my shampoo and conditioner FINALLY came in and i’m excited to talk to you about it! i’ve only been using it for a month or so, and as you know i only wash my hair once a week, so as for long term use – i don’t have a verdict, but i would love to share my experience so far. when your order comes in, it contains a cute handout brochure that tells you everything that is in your shampoo and conditioner. so you know exactly what’s going on your hair. let’s break down what my shampoo contains and my hair care needs! my hair color: brown thickness: fine moisture: oily-dry density: high length: shoulder-length scalp sensitivity: none my hair needs you will fill out what exactly your hair needs when you take their survey before your order! deep conditioning lengthen hydration prevent thinning color protection ingredients i’m not going to list ALL of the ingredients because it would be super long, but here are a few of the important ingredients that are in my shampoo and conditioner. polyquaternium-37 this provides hair conditioning composition and is great for providing volume to fine hair. vitamin e this will help protect my hair and scalp while also improving hair growth, scalp circulation, and balance oil production. wheat germ oil this is very nourishing and moisturizing and also helps protect against environmental stresses. yeast extract this helps hair become more manageable so it’s easy to style and comb. it also doesn’t clog pores or the scalp! review so now that we know what i needed and what mine contain, let’s get on with my thoughts! first of all, it smells AMAZING! you can pick your scent too, which i thought was super great. the consistency of the shampoo was really weird to me at first because it wasn’t as thick as my normal shampoo and conditioner. i’m assuming this is because of the ingredients that mine contain. it wasn’t an issue or anything, it was just so weird to get used to at first. i also had…

4 ways to wear knee high boots today’s post is going to be 4 ways to wear knee high boots! now, let me give you a little bit of background on this post. i bought these boots specifically for halloween, BUT since they cost me like $45 (which is way too expensive to me), i told myself i had to find places and ways to wear these to justify the purchase. by the way, any guesses to what i am going to be for halloween??? i left a sneak peek on my instagram story last week. anyway! i thought this was the perfect opportunity to challenge myself. originally, this was going to be 5 ways, but i realized buying an oversized sweater and having a sweater dress were essentially the same idea, so i kept it at 4. there are SO many other ways to wear these, but these outfits were a few of my favs! enjoy xo white jeans normally, i’m a black jeans type of a girl, but pairing some black knee high boots with white jeans totally works! i love the way this turned out. it kind of spices up your typical dark fall colors look by adding a bit of white. high wasted blue jeans this one is a personal fav of mine. i paired these knee high boots with my favorite high wasted denim from zara. i also threw on my favorite belt from urban outfitters to bring it all together! this is how i would probably wear these boots most of the time because it’s simple and comfy. oversized sweater large sweaters are my go-to in the fall because im always cold and they are the comfiest! pairing an oversized sweater with some black tights and knee high boots makes it look like you put a ton of effort into your outfit. sometimes i steal dominic’s sweaters and they are the perfect size to do this with! this is an old sweater from forever21, but you can basically find a long sweater anywhere! also don’t mind the rip in my tights. i literally did as i was getting out of the car to take these photos.. ha. shorts and blazer so, ideally, i would have rather have styled this with a pair of baggy mom jean shorts, because i think that would look wayyyy cooler than these super short cut off shorts, HOWEVER, these…
