let’s talk resolutions hi, i’m back! i know… it’s been a while. but it’s 2019 and i am ready to start the year with a blog post all about.. resolutions? i don’t know if i want to call these resolutions or more like small lifestyle upgrades. i find that when i create too big of a resolution or too crazy of a change at once, i totally fail after a few weeks. i’m sure most of you can relate! i can’t just go “ok, i’m going to start waking up every morning at 5am” and then just do it after i’ve been used to waking up at 745am every single day. i have to start slow! so instead, i’ll do something like wake up at 5am two days a week – and then slowly change my mornings as the months go on. another thing i really like doing is dividing up my resolutions/goals by month. so instead of saying that i’m going to hit the gym 4x a week for the entire year – i’ll just create a goal to hit the gym let’s say 15x in january. and i’ll focus on only the month of january. and then for february maybe i’ll change it to 20x that month – or even just 10x. if i focus on the entire year – i get way too overwhelmed.
